This term, we did many book clubs!

I love reading all sorts of books, so I had a lot of fun!

We got to blog and interact with students from our class outside of school, and on the class website. I also got to discuss with my groups about each novel. Each step of the way (Three sections) I kept on improving. I improved in areas like referring to the novel more, and making connections to spark up different ideas and questions.

The thing I liked the most was being able to discover new theme’s of books. I definitely enjoy reading about world issues and how to be the change much better now. I think the part I disliked the most was having to write our notes after each page we read. In my opinion, it took away the enjoyment of the book. I also didn’t like the time period we were given for section 2 and 3 of The Boys Without Names. I think it was too rushed after section one, therefore it was kind of overwhelming.

I think I would have set up a better schedule for each section of the novel. Meaning that each day I would read a certain amount.

If I were to suggest anything to my teachers, it would be to give us a longer time frame to expect better quality and quantity.

Our class finished reading Iqbal and now were doing a project about what we learned from reading this novel. We also have to choose a main theme for our project so it's organized and not so confusing. Many of us got to choose our partners so once again... Wait for it.... Drumroll please....I'm partners with Pooh Bear!
Anyways, I'm really looking forward to this project and you can see each step of the process here at my daily blog!

This year, we haven't really had much of a novel study but now we started one. I already know the story of Iqbal so it is nothing new to me- In fact if it was not for Iqbal Free The Children would have never been created therefore no Think we team.
I will try to update about basically every chapter we read and I will give some opinions of mine. Anyways, I'll post a picture as soon as possible. Bye!
