2012-2013

This term, I learned a lot about photography!

Ms.Fei taught us lots of different techniques, which helped me build on my learning since last year. I learned what leading lines, and BEV/WEV are.

I think what I enjoyed most about the photography unit this year is that we got to express our creativity and personality into each and every photo we took. I also enjoyed using the camera, and working with groups to showcase our learning. To be honest, I didn’t really dislike anything about this unit, other than the bad weather when we had to take the photos, and the short amount of time we had to take the photos.

I learned how to take BEV and WEV photos, and how to identify which is which.
BEV photos, or birds eye view, is when you take a photo from a bird’s perspective to make the object smaller.
WEV photos, or worms eye view, is when you take a photo from a worms perspective to make the object look bigger.

The learning intention for this unit was basically:
I can take professional photographs using the different techniques we have learned.
I look forward on taking photographs in the future to deepen my learning.
